WCR Day 1 results
Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 9:52PM Talk about a game of two halves! At 1:48pm today the rain stopped, the floods began to recede, and the sun came out to play. Well done and thanks everyone for a classic Castles day at the office under very difficult circumstances.
Below is a (photo!) of the leaderboard as at the finish of Day 1 - these results provisional and apologies for the crude format.
In the Open Race Serpentine lead Croups by 2:53mins with Sale in 3rd position 6:05mins behind the leaders.
In the Ladies Race, Les Croups lead Serps by <16 minutes with Winchester & District in 3rd.
Croups also lead the Vets race, 53 minutes ahead of Swansea Harriers with Denbigh Harriers in 3rd place.
Tata Steel lead the Business House race and are 15th overall.
